    Quick answer

Is it easy to get a same day courier in Leyton?

Yes. We usually have a van at a Leyton address within the hour, whether that is off the High Road, near Bakers Arms or on an estate by the marshes. It goes straight to the destination with no stops. Stratford is about ten minutes off-peak, Hackney 15 and the City around 30. The cost is fixed at booking.

    Reconnected After Thirty Years

For a long time Leyton felt cut off from the rest of the Lea Valley. The railway ran straight past it. That changed in 2016, when Lea Bridge station reopened. Railway Gazette reported that it had been closed for 31 years and that Waltham Forest Council put £5m towards bringing it back, with trains south to Stratford and north via Tottenham Hale.

Since then, the land along Lea Bridge Road has filled with new flats and workspace, and the road itself has been redesigned with segregated cycle lanes and bus priority. That is good news for residents but it makes loading harder. A courier in Leyton has to know where a van can legally stop on Lea Bridge Road and which side streets give a way in to the new blocks.

    Sports and leisure venues

Equipment for clubs and events around the marshes and the Olympic Park fringe, through events courier.

    Crossing the Valley

Leyton’s geography decides most of its journeys. To the west, Lea Bridge Road crosses the river and runs into Clapton and Hackney. To the south, Ruckholt Road and Temple Mills Lane lead past the Eurostar depot to Stratford and the A12. To the east, Leytonstone gives quick access to the A12 northbound and the M11 at the Redbridge roundabout.

For the City and Canary Wharf we normally use the A12 rather than squeezing through Hackney. For north London and the M1 it is usually the North Circular. E10 falls within the ULEZ, which our fleet complies with, and any congestion charge on a central London route is included in the fixed price.

    FAQs

    Leyton Courier FAQs

Where can your van stop on Lea Bridge Road?

It depends on the block. Many new buildings have a loading area at the back or on a side street, and our driver will use that. Tell us the building name and we check the access before arrival.

Is it quicker to reach the City from Leyton via Hackney or the A12?

Most of the time the A12 wins, especially at peak hours. We look at live traffic when the van sets off.

Can you collect a workshop order from Leyton and deliver it outside London?

Yes. One driver takes it from your unit straight to the customer anywhere in the UK, with no depot handling.

What happens to the price on a bank holiday in E10?

Bank holidays, weekends and nights cost a little more than weekday daytime work. We include that in the fixed price, so you know the total before you book.

Does your Leyton cover include Leytonstone, Bakers Arms and Lea Bridge?

Yes, along with Church Road, Grange Park and the rest of E10 and E11.
