How does luggage delivery work?
You tell us how many bags, where they are and where they need to be. A driver collects them from the door, they travel in a van booked for your job alone, and they are handed to you or a named person at the other end. Nothing is labelled, sorted or left in a depot, and you get one fixed price before we collect.

Airlines charge by the bag and by the kilo, trains have no space for four suitcases, and a car boot fills up faster than anyone expects. Sending luggage separately solves all three, and it costs less than most people assume once the bags weigh more than a cabin case.
Our luggage delivery service works door to door across the UK. A driver collects from a house, flat, hotel, university hall or office, and drives straight to the delivery address. Because the van carries only your consignment, there is no limit on how many bags travel together and no per-kilo charge stacking up. As a luggage courier we handle cases the way you packed them, rather than running them through a parcel belt.

What It Costs, and Why There Is No Per-Bag Price
Parcel networks price luggage by weight and size, which is why a single heavy suitcase can cost more than the flight it was meant to avoid. We price on the vehicle and the distance instead. Four cases going 200 miles cost the same as one case going 200 miles, because it is the same van and the same driver.

Night, weekend and bank holiday collections cost a little more than the same job on a weekday, and that difference is inside the quote rather than added later. Congestion Charge, ULEZ and any tolls on the route are included too.
How Your Bags Are Handled
Suitcases travel upright and strapped where possible, soft bags are stacked so nothing crushes, and anything fragile inside should be packed as though it were going in an aircraft hold. We carry blankets and straps as standard. If a bag has no working zip or handle, tell us when you book and we will bring extra straps rather than improvising at the door.
You get a photograph at collection and a signature or photo on delivery, so there is a record of the condition and the handover. Every job carries goods-in-transit cover, and if a case holds something genuinely valuable, say so at booking and we will confirm the cover in writing first.

Luggage Delivery Questions
How much does it cost to send a suitcase?
It depends on the distance and the van, not the number of bags. A short local run is far cheaper than a cross-country one, and sending four cases together costs the same as sending one. Tell us the two postcodes and how many bags and you get a fixed figure before booking.
Is there a weight limit per bag?
Not in the airline sense. What matters is the total load and whether one person can lift each item safely. A very heavy trunk or a case packed with books may need a second pair of hands, so mention it when you book.
Can you deliver luggage to a hotel before I arrive?
Yes, and it is a common booking. Give us the hotel, the booking name and the date, and we will deliver to reception and get a signature. It is worth telling the hotel to expect the bags so they hold them for your arrival.
Do you collect from university halls?
Yes, at both ends of term. Halls often have loading restrictions and time slots, so tell us the building, the room and any access rules and we will work to them.
Can someone else hand over or receive the bags?
Yes. Give us the name and phone number of whoever will be there. The driver calls ahead, and the proof of delivery records who signed for the bags.
What should not go in a case you are sending?
Cash, passports, medication you need that day and anything you cannot replace are better kept with you. If documents have to travel, our document courier service is the safer option for them.
