What does an events, print and exhibition courier job include?
Every events courier job comes with a dedicated vehicle and driver working for you alone, not shared with other collections. Expect collection within 30 to 60 minutes of booking, a direct run to the venue with no depots or sorting hubs, photo or signature proof of delivery, and one fixed price agreed before the driver sets off. Available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Doors open when they open. Nobody at ExCeL, Olympia or the NEC is going to move the show for a late stand or a missing box of brochures. Our events courier service exists for exactly that kind of pressure: exhibition stands, banners, product samples, AV kit and the thing someone forgot at the office, driven straight to the venue and timed to your build schedule, including overnight access and early-morning slots most couriers won’t touch.
Print Deliveries That Hit the Deadline
We work with printers across London and beyond, taking finished jobs straight from the press to the client, the mailing house or the venue floor, often the same evening a job comes off the machine. A brochure run for a 9am conference, signage for a store launch, a personalised programme approved only yesterday: collected within the hour and delivered with photo proof, so the relationship between your printer and their client stays intact. See how we support the wider print and media industry beyond one-off event jobs.
Timed Deliveries Into Every UK Venue
Loading bays at major venues run on a schedule, not on hope. We book slots, coordinate with organisers and marshal straight through security, whether that’s a stand delivery near ExCeL London in Stratford or a late-night pull-out once the hall closes.
- Deliveries into ExCeL London, Olympia, the Business Design Centre, the NEC and venues right across the UK
- Timed slots arranged around organiser schedules, loading bay bookings and vehicle marshalling rules
- Stand and kit collection at breakdown, including late-night pull-outs once the hall closes
- Multi-venue tours, where one dedicated van moves your stand from show to show without it touching a depot
- Same-morning “left it at the office” runs, which happen on show day somewhere in the country
How Our Events Courier Service Works
Call or book online and a controller confirms your vehicle class and collection window there and then, usually 30 to 60 minutes out. The driver loads at your office, print works or warehouse, drives direct to the venue with no stop at a depot, and gets a signature or photo the moment your stand or print run is handed over. You get a fixed price before the van moves, so there’s nothing to argue about on an invoice weeks later.
That matters more than most people realise. The UK’s exhibition sector alone generated an estimated £11.5 billion in economic output and supported 126,000 jobs in 2025, and exhibitors bringing a stand into a venue that size can’t afford a missed build slot over a courier that co-loads with three other deliveries.
Careful Handling for Stands, AV and High-Value Kit
Exhibition stands, demo units and AV equipment cost real money, and most of it can’t be replaced mid-tour. Single handling keeps that risk down: your kit goes on the van once, gets strapped and blanketed once, and comes off once at the venue. Our drivers know venue corridors, goods lifts and impatient floor managers, because that’s most of what an events courier day looks like. For genuinely fragile or high-value pieces, our fragile and high-value courier service adds extra padding, upright transport and clear handling instructions on the job sheet.
Vehicle size matters more here than on most jobs. A modular stand plus its literature usually fits an LWB van; a full shell scheme, several crates or a large AV rig calls for a Luton van with a tail lift. Tell us the pack-down dimensions when you book and we’ll confirm the right vehicle before the day, not after it doesn’t fit through the doors.
Who Books Our Events and Print Courier
Event organisers and agencies use us for jobs that can’t slip: stand builds, delegate materials, signage that has to be up an hour before doors open. Printers use us to get finished work out of the factory and into a client’s hands the same day it comes off press. AV and production companies move equipment between venues mid-tour, and exhibitors call us for the one box left behind on show morning, which happens more often than anyone likes to admit.
We cover exhibition halls and conference venues nationwide, from the NEC near Birmingham to smaller regional shows most networks don’t bother with.
Our Manchester base makes Manchester Central and the wider North West core territory, not an afterthought. See our Manchester courier coverage for how that works day to day.
In 2025 there were an estimated 1,154 exhibitions and conferences at the UK’s major venues, drawing 6.8 million visits, the highest total since 2015 according to the Events Industry Alliance. That’s a lot of stands with a hard deadline, and a dedicated vehicle beats a shared network every time the schedule is tight.

Events Courier FAQs
How much does an events or exhibition courier job cost?
Every quote is a fixed, all-inclusive price agreed before the driver leaves, based on vehicle size, distance and timing. Weekend and bank holiday collections may cost more than a weekday slot, but that’s confirmed on the phone, not buried in the invoice. There’s no separate charge for a timed venue delivery.
Do you carry goods-in-transit insurance for stands and AV equipment?
Yes, every job runs under goods-in-transit cover as standard. Tell the controller what’s on board and its approximate value when you book, and we’ll confirm the cover limit before the driver collects, raising it for higher-value kit if you need it.
Will your driver have the paperwork venues ask for on arrival?
Yes. Most major UK venues want proof of public liability insurance and vehicle details before a van gets near the loading bay, and our drivers carry what’s needed as standard. Send us the venue’s specific access requirements in advance and we’ll make sure nothing holds up your slot.
Can you deliver to a venue at a specific time slot?
Yes, timed venue delivery is standard practice for us, not an add-on. Give us the organiser’s schedule and loading bay booking and the driver arrives inside the window with paperwork ready, avoiding a queue of vans all turning up at once.
Do you collect stands after the show closes, including late at night?
Yes, including late breakdown collections once the hall empties. We wait while you pack down, load the van, and either return your kit to base or drive it straight to the next venue on the tour.
What if we forget something on the morning of the show?
Call us. Same-morning “left it at the office” runs are one of the most common jobs we handle during exhibition season. A dedicated driver can be collecting within the hour and delivering it to your stand before doors open.
How quickly can a same day courier collect exhibition stand materials before a show?
Collections are usually arranged within 30 to 60 minutes of booking. Timing to the venue then depends on distance and the goods-in slot you’ve been allocated, so let us know the exact window when you book and we’ll work back from it.
Can you deliver directly to a loading bay or exhibitor entrance with a timed access slot?
Yes. Give us the hall, stand number and the goods-in time, along with any vehicle permit or exhibitor pass details, and the driver will arrive for that slot rather than turning up and queuing to be let in.
What size van do we need for a shell scheme stand?
It depends on what’s travelling. Roller banners and literature fit in a small van, while a full stand with flooring, furniture and a lighting rig usually needs a tail-lift Luton van. Tell us what’s going and we’ll quote the smallest vehicle that does the job safely.
Can a courier handle multiple venues on a roadshow?
Yes. We regularly move the same stand between venues across a roadshow, collecting from one hall’s breakdown and delivering to the next show’s build-up, including overnight runs between cities. Got a stand that has to be on the show floor before doors open? Get a same day courier quote and we’ll confirm collection within the hour.
“They’ve moved our stand to eleven shows this year — every build slot hit, every breakdown collected, nothing damaged. They’re part of the team now.”

Which Vehicle Will Your Job Need?
Every job travels on a dedicated vehicle sized to the load, so you are never paying for space you do not use. If you are unsure which applies, describe the items when you call and we will advise.
| Vehicle | Typical capacity | Typically carries |
|---|---|---|
| Small van | 400kg | Boxed goods, documents, small parts |
| SWB van | 800kg / 1 pallet | Cartons, cases, single pallet loads |
| LWB van | 1,200kg / 3 pallets | Longer items up to 4m, multiple pallets |
| Luton with tail lift | 1,000kg / 5 pallets | Heavy or bulky loads with no forklift at either end |
